The company holiday party.... ah yes... good times. These fuzzy cameraphone snapshots don't even begin to tell the tales of that night. It's amazing how interesting the night can become when there's alcohol involved lol. As for me, I was sober and just sat back and enjoyed the fireworks! I tried some poker for the first time in a good number of years. I lasted for a decent while there. It's not spades, but I can get down with it.

The World Series is messing up my Monday night line up... Oh well, only one more week till its back on and poppin' with Prison Break, Vanished, Justice, Bones and House!

Oh yea... the thumb lady got me this time... If you remember this story, I had an offer to be shown something "amazing" in the mall once before. It was a different lady and mall this time. For some reason this one gave it to me for a whole let less. Even though she con me into getting it, it's probably a good thing anyways. Nothing wrong with a little hand hygiene lol..

So i went to bojangles last night and got a 2 piece dinner. Got all the way home, and realized them jokers forgot to give me my sweet tea. You know how hard it is to eat bojangles without sweet tea? Messed me all up... shot..

I know you not supposed to talk about people in church, but... Today while I was waiting to go into the sanctuary, there was guy standing by me wearing a black suit. Nothing wrong with that, right? So then while bowing my head during prayer, I looked over and noticed that his black shoes were actually a pair of black Jordan's... Michael Jordan's. Number 23's. Now... I suppose you can wear what you feel comfortable in, but it just threw me for a second there. Then, I noticed that I could see his right heel, as if he were stepping on the shoe and wearing it like a sandal. I couldn't see the left one, just the back of the shoe.

Now... am i the only person that finds this to be a bit... weird? I mean, was he wearing sandals? Jordan sandals? Or was he just stepping on the shoe, and planned on sliding into the sanctuary after the prayer?

I don't know.. but he made the wait in the lobby for first sunday more interesting.

So, at my apartment complex,  there are a bunch of kids that play outside my balcony, by the volleyball court. There's a lot of open area out there so they do the running around and soccer and whatever else they get the urge to do.

So I guess this one little boy isn't into all that, and he's looking for something else to entertain himself with...

So I'm chilling on the couch and I hear something outside, like hitting the window, like a bird or a bee buzzing up on the glass. Then I realize that it sounds like something straight up hitting the windows. So I look outside the blinds and this little boy is throwing pebbles at my window. NOt trying to hit anything or scare of a squirrel or nohing... just throwing pebbles at my window... for the hell of it.

So... as he is throwing pebbles, he sees me looking out the blind back at him... and he gets startled... and runs to the other side of field, around the volleyball court, and into his house...

Now mind you this isn't the first time this has happen.

Been a while, hasn't ? Well last night some mess got under my skin: a movie.

So I rented Chronicles of Narnia and finally got to watching it last night while packing. Tell me why them kids aggravated the snot outta me?? That little punk Edmond... I just want to  go upside his head or something! Sitting in a sleigh with with some white witch you never seen before eating turkish delights and telling everybody business after you accidentally backed into a land with half goat men and snow from a wardrobe closet?? And then lied on his sister like a jerk.... I don't know why that bothered me so much but it did... so sue me. I told you it would be random.

Random Thoughts of the day: Isn't there something so dated about sitting in a chair like this?



I mean who sits in a chair like this anymore in 2006? Really now... it..it.. it just looks like 1993 or something when I see this dude in this chair like that. I mean let a lone he got the tied up, cutup mama stocking cap working with the wife b' and the parachute pants, but the backwards chair on back to top of all that?? What in the world!??!

Is it just me? I didn't think so...

Wow it's been a minute, huh? Let's see.. what's new. Well, went to ATLanta this past weekend for a surprise birthday party for my friends' mom. It was pretty cool... got to see my people down their, which is always a good thing. Think that's about it right now.

Tuesday... still sore but that's alright, 'cause today was one of those days you just kinda forget about things like that.

So i'm working on this artwork for the AROD baseball game we're doing, and that's going pretty good. Then one of our business guys comes over and is like " we got Hot Sauce's agent coming in the office and we want to show him some things you all are doing with AROD, so we can show what he can do for his own game". 

So i'm like "that's cool."

So when it comes time for the meeting, I went in and and i saw Mark, the agent. Then who do I see sitting in the board room on the other side?



The one and only – "SAUCE" So i'm thinking.. "That's tight."

Then we have like a 2 hour meeting with Hot Sauce and his agent about some game ideas that we can do for him on the mobile phones. So not only do I get to meet the truth himself, I get to work on a game with him? Are you kidding me? You know what I do... and you know its gonna be fire!

Ugh. Arms sore, abs sore, chest sore...pretty much just sore, yeah...

Anyhoo, not much new to report on today.Had a long weekend, but Easter was good.



Last night I tried to make sweet tea again... and failed. I think i'm going to leave that to the pro's until I master the secret technique that they must have, because I keep making sweet brown dirt water with ice in it.

Feels more like friday than thursday right now. Maybe that's because I don't have to work tomorrow – nice.

How bout I call myself trying to play some tennis last night? Least I was playing with someone who had just as hard a time as me getting the ball back over the net... Yeah that was some bull. Good exercise, though my ankle and shoulder are feeling it this morning... Icepack time!

Haven't really had too much to say lately... not much really going on. Just working and living.

If you must have some updates, here you go:

• Went to doctor, got shoulder checked out. Nothing broken, just need to do some flexibility exercises for a couple weeks to loosen up the joints that were bothering me.

• Got taxes done, since my e-filing wasn't working to grand from home.

• Bought $70 worth of groceries. Yum yum.

• Ran a mile.

• Cleaned out my car.

• The last two were lies. Sorry.

Well, there you have it. It's come to my attention that there's some people out there who actually take the time to read all of these little rants on here. Some people: probably more like 3. Anywhoo, glad you get a kick out of it :)

I don't know what's up with these dreams I keep having. They are always some weird recipe of fact and fiction, past and present with a dash of the future ( that's what I'm guessing it is at least.) I might have to start getting some of these things on paper and writing a movie script or something. Of course, I don't need everybody knowing ALL of my business... so it might be best kept in the dome of worry and wonder.
And no, i'm stil not there.

Ok Random Thoughtss all in a little package. Saddle up.

#1. I sback to topped at the grocery store after work to pick up some things. After getting out of my car and walking to the door, I had to walk AROUND a car parked in the fire lane. These are people I can't stand. It says NO PARKING everywhere! i wish there was a big box of bricks and mayonaise to throw and spread on their cars for being there!

#2. I commence to get a cart and start rolling it in the store. Of course the wheel is all jacked up and shaking and rattling while i push it. Then it hit me: this is a lot like dating. Sometimes it feels like you get the short end of the stick: all these carts here to choose from and I end up with the one thats just tore up. On the other hand, you cold see it as this: all the carts are jacked up, so be happy with the one you got and deal with it.

#3 What is the point of MVP Cards? Should i feel important because i have this lil thing taking up space on my keychain that you also have mister or misses cashier? Why you askng me and you got one right there? Why dont we just keep yours at the register!? If I say no, you just pull yours out anyways, if you're nice... or if you don't, you're just a ugh!! #4 I was in the dollar store after the whole grocery store enigma. I see this guy looking for a hair brush. That's cool. Till he starts brushing his hair with it! I mean stroking it too... I hope he bought it.

Happy Valentine's Day to all! To all those out there who aren't being showered with gifts and feeling all warm inside because of some special somebody, its rough I know. That's all a facade. Today is really an eye-opening for women. Read the story and think about it. Remember, it could be worse. You could be handcuffed naked to a bike rail outside of your old high school with a wig on and two jolly ranchers by your ashy ankles.

Yeah... that's rough, bizarre and pointless.. but hey, still rough.

Sometimes I sit and wonder about things; the what was, what is and what could be. Is it a good thing? I mean, dreams are desires of the subconscious and the playground of possibilities, right?

Yet at the same time I sit and worry about the exact same things. Is it a bad thing? I mean, we should not be consumed by the fear in our minds nor obstacles that are beyond our control, right?

I don't know, it's just something thats embedded in my fabric and it baffles me when I try to understand it. Maybe it wasn't meant to be understood, just experienced. It's better to accept that fact than to deny it, so here it is: l have a mind of worry and wonder. Even in the irony of their pairing, I suppose it's the balance of the two that keep me sane.

Alright lets get down to it. Weekend: decent. Lot of chilling and sleeping, oh and eating. I spent half the weekend with a lil piece of hard french fry in my throat. Not fun. Superbowl: decent. I wasn't going for anyone really, but I did want to see Bettis get the championship. It was some rather garbage officiating.  All the technology we have in the arena today, and yet we still entrust the game to a bunch of old guys. They are as about as useful as the referees in wrestling. Have a seat, pops..Asides that there was some good trick plays going on by Pittsburg. Weekend dining: rather good. Made Spaghetti sunday. Why am I telling you this? Because you will read it thats why.

So this weekend was pretty different than the rest I can say I've ever wrote about. What an experience. You ready for this? Ok..

I got a wardrobe makeover! From head to toe pretty much. Very much long overdue. I've been wearing the same clothes and shoes since probably end of high school, midway through college. I don't wanna go into too much detail about what all I got, but enough to make you see me and think... "wow, you look _____" (choose your own word there when you see me lol).

Much thanks to my super fantastic stylist that work some magic I must say. Brushed off a lil' dirt and found the jewel that was hidden underneath! I never spent that much time in a store trying on clothes in my life in a period of 2 days... but it was well worth it! Patience pays off well :-) Shoot I might end up on the cover of some magazine or something lol.

Naw it's not that crucial. Yes it is. No really, it is...

Interesting weekend.Time fell back, FSU and NCSU won their homecoming games, I got my car inspected. (Doesn't really matter but I thought i'd throw that in there.)

It was also a weekend of rebirth and emancipation for some.

So there's this guy in front of me on the condiment row filling up his cup with soda.

So he's filling it up with Minute Maid Orange Soda, then puts some Hi-C Fruit Punch in it, then some some Dr. Pepper, then some Sprite, and capped it off with a touch of Diet Coke.

I ask you.. what was that about???

So I'm in the mall and this lady at a booth says to me " would you like to try something amazing?"

Whoa.

So after she inquires about my nail care, she proceeds to take my offered thumb and buffs and lightly oils my thumb..nail.. and I tell you, that lil guy was gleamin'. 

So then she asks something with her accent I couldn't understand too greatly which sounded like: "would you like to buy something amazing?"

"No thanks."

Man my right thumb...nail.. looks great though.
